It depends on the membership you are interested in.
Our coworking memberships are for one individual. 

Our office and dedicated desk memberships can be shared, depending on the office or desk you’ve chosen.  Listed pricing is based on one person, however, additional company members can be added for $200 a month. 

Our membership are set up with one billing party and can not be split into two payments.  Let us know if you are interested in adding a person to your membership, or starting with two individuals and we’ll get you set up.

If your company is interested in having multiple members join THE SANDBOX, or utilize any of our locations for your remote employees, we’d love to create a multi-member and/or multi-space membership that fits your company needs and budget.  Contact us to get the discussion started!

Dogs are allowed at THE SANDBOX for owners who have private desks or office memberships and have cleared their dog through our SANDBOX dog owner checklist.  Our checklist includes the need for a local  dog license and up to date with dog vaccinations.  Our dog policy is available here.

If you are working on the open coworking floor with a coworking membership or day pass you will need to leave your furry friends at home, they are not allowed on the coworking floor.

THE SANDBOX Paso Robles uses a membership system that includes access to the building with a mobile app based key that is activated with your 24/7, office or private desk membership.

After joining THE SANDBOX you’ll be given a quick orientation that includes instruction on how to use the system and app (iOS or Android) to access the building. 

All memberships include all utilities, including a very speedy wireless internet connection. In addition coffee, tea and other beverages are available for members in the kitchen, your membership also comes with one (24/7 Coworking and Desk Memberships) or two hours (Office Memberships) a month in our Meeting Room. With a dedicated desk or office you can also use the 1345 Park Street Paso Robles address for your business.  We sort and distribute mail as it arrives.  If you have a coworking membership you can add the use of the address and a mailbox for $30 a month.

If someone would like to work with you, they can either join THE SANDBOX as a member (yay!), or purchase a day pass (or a pack of day passes). 

THE SANDBOX provides multiple phone booths for your phone calls. These spaces are built with great sound dampening materials or purchased specifically for private calls.  Our phone booths are available on a first come first served basis for calls. Keep in mind these spaces aren’t private office spaces, and your things shouldn’t be left in the booths between calls.  If you need a space to leave your things we have private and dedicated offices available by the month and sometimes by the day, depending on availability.

Our open top offices and desks, despite being open, have been built with soundproofing in mind.  Yes, your voice will be heard quietly in the building, but with the large rollup door open, and music playing, your voice should blend in.  

The SANDBOX memberships are month-to-month. If you are looking for a longer-term commitment please contact us about our lease agreement options. Our month-to-month memberships do require a 30 day + notice to end your membership. A deposit is not needed, but you will be responsible for finishing the current term, and an additional 30 days of membership fees.  We will charge your last month of membership when you give your notice to leave THE SANDBOX.

Great!  There are a couple of options for you. 

Our All Access Coworking Memberships, and Desk and Office Memberships give you access to the building at any time. 

If you are asking about daily early access, then we are happy to give you access to the space a bit earlier once you have an understanding of how THE SANDBOX works.  We do this through an orientation.  Just show up at or after 8:30 on your first day and we’ll give you a quick orientation and the next day you’ll be able to get to work earlier by buying our Extended Day Pass (for $35 a day). This pass comes with a digital key that will allow you to get in the building at 5am.

Yes, THE SANDBOX offers day passes and we love meeting individuals from out of the area and connecting them to our members and favorite spots in town. These passes can be purchased for $25 a day and can be used  between 8:30 AM and 5PM.  You can purchase day passes on the day you arrive at THE SANDBOX, or you can purchase advance at and schedule your start date. If you’d like to use THE SANDBOX for multiple days, you can purchase a punch card for 5 or more passes.  When you purchase 5 or more day passes, day passes are priced at $20 a day. 

Note that day passes “punches”  need to be used within 90 days of purchase.
If you decide within that 90 days that you would like to upgrade to a 24/7 coworking membership, office or desk we are able to credit your account for the amount of the unused days and apply that to your new membership.

Our Virtual Membership allows you to use our address for your business.  With the membership you’ll have your own locking mailbox inside our building where we will place any mail delivered for you.  You’ll have access to the mailbox from 6am to 6pm every day.

Once you purchase the virtual membership just let us know the names of the businesses that will be receiving mail, you can then use our address addressed with either of the following ways.

All of the mail delivered to 1345 Park Street comes to one shared mailbox, managed by THE SANDBOX Staff.  We sort mail during our working hours, every Monday to Friday, typically mid morning. We then distribute all mail to our office and desk members and individuals/companies with a virtual membership and mailbox.

Mail for offices and private desk is placed on the desk inside your locked office or desk.

We have an all you can print option for full time SANDBOX members (24/7 Coworking, Office and Desk Memberships) that allows you to use our printer. The add on is $35 a month and our printer is easily accessed by plugging your laptop into the machine with a USB cable… so be sure to bring your dongle.   

Unfortunately, our printer is not available for drop in use by individuals purchasing a day pass and we can’t just print one or two documents for you.  Hopefully you can do this at home, your hotel, or at another location.   Please keep that in mind if you are working with us for the day.

We have a family add-on for your spouse or children that can be added to your membership for $100 a month.  This allows your family to use THE SANDBOX just like any other member.  If they just want to use the space for the day, they can purchase a day pass.

If you have booked the Meeting Room or Training Room you do not need to purchase a guest pass for yourself or your guests for the duration of your meeting. If you, or your guests, are interested in working for the rest of the day at THE SANDBOX, and your meeting is shorter than 4 hours, a day pass is required ($25).

YES!  We have just started to book larger meetings in the main space at THE SANDBOX.  The space is perfect for training events, large board meetings, workshops or other meetings where the group needs more space or the ability to move around a bit more.  The space can be rented for full, or half days. Contact us for details.

Yes!  With some advanced booking time, we can make our space available for weekend and evening meetings.  Note that the Meeting Room and Training Room are priced a bit higher for after hours meetings so that we can be sure to staff the space.

Yes!  Help yourself to  great coffee from Cacti Coffee brewing in THE SANDBOX kitchen along with tea and filtered water in the refrigerator door.
