Community and Event Manager

THE SANDBOX Paso Robles, a coworking space and event venue, is searching for an outgoing individual to help lead our team in Paso Robles. This charismatic personality would organize, sell and manage a variety of programs and events geared towards SANDBOX members and the community, in addition to assisting with daily operations.
This is a part-time opportunity.
Compensation range: $17 to $20 per hour + commission.
Responsibilities

– Work with Events team to produce SANDBOX and partner events
– Manage event space rentals at the venue
– Assist in Securing Sponsorships for Events & Programming
– Engage in the local community by networking & attending events
– Develop partnerships with other organizations to support their events
– Organize monthly SANDBOX events
– Work with local Meetup Organizers to promote their groups and support their efforts
– Assist with day-to-day operations of THE SANDBOX
– Assist with new member growth and conduct tours of THE SANDBOX facility
– Engage in the larger Paso Robles community
– Keep the facilities tidy and neat and manage daily facility upkeep
Required Experience

– 2+ years experience in event management, customer service or hospitality
– Proven leadership skills and vibrant personality
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Customer service and sales experience a plus
